The Hull Community Picnic has special meaning as it is the 150th birthday of the town.
Events kick off Friday, Aug. 20 with face painting at 5 p.m.
At 6 p.m., The Little Mr and Miss, Junior Miss and Miss Hull pageants begin.
A local band, ImpaKt, will play from 8-10 p.m. A teen dance will be held at the tennis courts with DJ Tim Bradshaw spinning the tunes. Small admission fee and also a fee for the photo booth.

Howells will be cooking in the park, Chappy’s ice cream truck will be on-hand the the eighth graders will be selling food for their trip toWashington D.C.
Saturday morning things get moving with the 15th annual Hull of a Race with proceeds going to the Mark Twain Area Parkinson’s Support Group. There will be a fun run, a 5K walk, both a 5K and 10K race. Registration is at 7 p.m. Fun run starts at 7:45 and adults runs at 8 p.m.
More faceprinting in the park beginnings at 9 a.m., the same time as registration for the baby contest for children 0 -12 months and Tiny Tots, 2-4 years old.
At noon, parade entries can start registration at the school. The parade will start at 1 p.m.
Immediately following the parade, will be the Hi-Neighbor games.
Sat 2 p.m. the presentation of the 2021 parade marshal, the first ever Hull of a Hero and Best Float awards.
Registration for the pet show is at 3 with the event starting at 4.
The Lions Club Famous Chicken dinner starts at 4 p.m.
The West Pike All-School reunion will be in the school at 8 p.m. Entertainment to be announced.
Vendors during Saturday’s events include; Lion’s Club hamburger stand and the Hi-Neighbor Club snow cones, iced tea and water.
The Hull Museum will be open from noon until 8 p.m.
