Summer’s winding down; signs of a season change
These days are showing up, the summer is trying to pass along, nice cool mornings, crickets croaking, and yes the corn stalks starting to rustle! Enjoy the feel and sounds of the changing of seasons.
Nebo Vin Fiz went very well and big congratulations to Shirley Johns, as the well deserved Parade Marshall. Also the new Queen Emma Root and all the many other winners!
It is with deep sadness to hear of the passing of Mr. Don Peebles, remember him so well as being a quiet, kind, but stern man as principal of our school for many years. He was of genuinely kind character whether at school or in public. He truly was an outstanding citizen in our community and will be dearly missed. Deepest sympathy to Vicki, the boys and all of his family at this time.
Happy 70th Birthday to a wonderful man and father, Jim Anderson, he will be celebrating his big day Tuesday, Aug. 24. You are welcome to send him a card at 204 W.North St, P.Hill address. So Thankful for this dear guy, he is loved a lot!!
Any news welcome to share, will be glad to do so. Hoping you have a blessed, busy week ahead, well as busy as you want it to be of course.
