The 2021 Reynolds Family Reunion was held with a dinner Friday night at Los Rancheros in Jacksonville.
There were 48 people who attended a basket dinner on August 7th at Lake Springfield Baptist Camp in Chatham, Ill. Matt Reynolds conducted the meeting following lunch.
There were 87 family members in attendance with families coming from Hawaii, Utah, Iowa, Tenn. Florida, New York, Missouri and South Carolina.
Highlights of the day was celebrating the 100 th birthday of Lucile Blair Tipps of Tremont. She was born July 9, 1921 to William Curtis and Alta Jane (Reynolds} Blair of Berdan. She often walks to church, the library, the post office, to her bank and her church. She volunteered at OSF St Francis Medical Center where she amassed a total of 6,361 78 service hours. She decided to give up driving and sold her car in June.
Next year, the Leslie Reynolds family will be in charge and the reunion will be held in Hannibal, Mo.
