It’s that time of year again. The town is quiet during the weekdays as all the kids have gone back to school. Please remember to drive slowly through town in the morning when they are all standing out waiting for the bus and again in the afternoon as they get off the bus.
Dick’s was one of the hosts this weekend to the 14th Annual Ride for Shriners; they had 85 – 100 motorcycles stop in on Saturday.
Joanne Dexheimer is wrapping up her two-week stay in Portland. She finally got to meet her twin granddaughters in person Whitney and Anna. I’m sure coming back to Kampsville and leaving those babies will be hard.
Congratulations to Reed and Morgan (Stein) Rustin who were married this past Saturday. Morgan was a stunning bride. mom, Nikki Stein and grandma, Nancy Lippencott also both looked gorgeous.
Congratulations to brand new grandparents Dale and Roberta Becker, their daughter Hanna and husband David Kamp. Welcomed daughter Ada Marie on August 18 weighing 7 lbs. and 10 oz.
Sympathy to the family of Don Hitchings who passed away last week and the Bill Titus Family who passed away also.
Unfortunately Covid is hitting again in our community. Please keep all those battling in your prayers and continue prayers for Jerry Crader, Tonya Fester, Jim Hill, Kurt Roth, Joe Gress, Amy Roth, Joyce Blumenberg, Bruce Williams, Raymond Sievers, Isabel McGlaughin, Linda Herkert, Bill Schumann, Eileen Gardner, Rick Randazzo and Ashley Wilson.
