The Burton family of Jersey County made their annual trek up to the Illinois State Fairgrounds with their “Fried What?” stand. A state fair favorite, the stand was located outside the expo building and enjoyed another year of success. The “Fried What?” stand made its debut appearance at the Jersey County Fair this past July but is a veteran of several different state fairs. The Burton family has been a committed county fair family for many years and has been seen showing hogs in the showbarn as well as exhibiting baked goods and vegetables in the green building.
