In celebration of Pike County’s 200th Birthday, the Pike County Chamber of Commerce and the Pike County Bicentennial Committee are launching the Pike County Tenderloin Trail on Labor Day weekend.
The Tenderloin Trail highlights the iconic tenderloin sandwich at 11 Pike County Chamber of Commerce member restaurants in 10 Pike County communities.
To participate, individuals should pick up a punch card at any participating restaurant, and eat at least nine tenderloin sandwiches at nine different participating Pike County Chamber of Commerce member restaurants between Saturday, Sept. 4 and Sunday, Nov. 20 – getting a punch for each tenderloin sandwich ordered.
When complete, just drop off the card at the final restaurant visited, with your name and phone number written on the back. If selected for a prize, participants may be asked to present proof of purchases, so save your receipts!
All participants are encouraged to post selfies at the participating restaurants and pictures of their tenderloins on the public Facebook group “Pike County IL Tenderloin Trail.”
Participating restaurants are The Hook, Bainbridge Café, Copperhead Tavern, Atlas Café, Fat Boys, StageCoach Inn, Wattsup Café, Teddy’s, Rumors Have It, Courtyard Café & Bakery and Riverbank Bar & Grill.
Participants who complete the trail will qualify for recognition and prize drawings. Complete contest guidelines and more information will be provided on the “Pike County IL Tenderloin Trail” Facebook group page.
For more information contact the Pike County Chamber of Commerce at 217-285-2971.
