The Pike County Sheriff’s Department had an active two days spanning Aug. 21 and 22.
The day began with the arrest of two individuals at Ralph’s Landing after a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area.
Arrested were Ethan L. Miller, 31, Pittsfield, and Jeana L. Thomas, 46, Louisiana,Mo. were arrested after police found, more than 50 grams of methamphetamine, suspected Psilocybin Mushrooms, suspected heroin, small plastic baggies, digital scales,14 smoking devices, hypodermic syringes, several rounds of ammunition, and three handguns were recovered and seized.
Miller was charged with aggravated battery to a police officer, unlawful possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver, obstructing justice, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a drug papaphernalia, unlawful possession of hypodermic syringes and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
Thomas was arrested for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver and unlawful possession a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of hypodermic syringes.
Both Miller and Thomas were taken to the Pike County Jail. Both had bonds set at $100,000.Thomas asked for and received a reduction in bond to $40,000 and posted $4,000 and was released. Miller remains lodged.
