On Saturday, Sept. 11, I will have a booth set up with information regarding the Calhoun County Senior Citizens Center at the Calhoun County Fair. Stop by and get some information regarding the center. You will be surprised at all we have to offer. I hope to see you there.
We are making wreaths here at Calhoun County Senior Citizens Center on Sept. 21. Debbie Klunk will be teaching the class. It will start around noon.
Lunch, Monday-Friday, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Over 60: donate what you can afford. Under 60: you must pay $7, the full cost of the meal.
In addition to the Meals on Wheels and Congregate Meals programs, we offer a Frozen Meal Program for homebound people and their caregivers. Please call 618-576-9567 for more information.

Thursday, Sept. 9: Pork Chop with Stewed Tomatoes, Cornbread Stuffing, corn, Tapioca Pudding, Juice.
Friday, Sept. 10: Harvest Chicken Casserole, Beets, Roasted Potatos, Apple Brown Betty.
Monday, Sept. 13: Tuna noodle casserole, Dilled Carrots, Cheesy Cauliflower, Brownies.
Tuesday, Sept. 14: Meatloaf, Baked Potato, Green Beans, Peach Crisp.
Wednesday, Sept. 15: Chicken Alfredo, Hominy, Broccoli, Cottage Cheese with Pineapple.
