On Wednesday, Sept 1, Calhoun High School varsity volleyball traveled to Jacksonville for their conference matchup againt Routt Catholic High School.
The Lady Warriors were defeated by the Rockets volleyball squad in a 2-0 match up.
Jaelyn Hill had 12 digs and three of her teammates assisted in those digs. Lacy Pohlman had 10, Lila Simon had eight and Josie Hoagland also had eight digs. The Warriors had 13 kills overall in the match, which was led by Audrey Gilmand (six), Lacy Pohlman (five), and Kate Zipprich (three). The leaders for the lady Warriors in aces were Lacy Pohlman (two) and Josie Hoagland (two). Zipprich lead her team with four blocks.
“Tough game against Routt. Two close matches. Lost 25-27 and 24-26.” Melissa Zipprich, head coach of the Lady Warriors, said.

The Calhoun varsity volleyball team has a home conference match vs. Greenfield/Northwestern (Greenfield, IL) on Tuesday, Sept 7 at 6 p.m.
