The purpose of the Panther Athletic Club (PAC) is to support the Jerseyville Panther organization consisting of parents, players and coaches. The PAC’s goal is to help the athletic program at Jersey Community High School (JCHS), by providing financial support with monies raised by volunteers to encourage excellence in our athletes.
“The PAC is having one of their first fundraisers. It is our annual fish fry that we have every year,” Christ Meisner, vice president of the PAC, said. “The event will be held on Sept. 10 at the Donald Snyders Sports Complex. The meal only costs $10, and with that purchase a person will get a dinner that includes fish, slaw, chips, cookie and drink.”
Meisner mentioned that all fall atheletes are selling tickets and walk-ins are welcome.
She said if you are interested in helping out to make this fundraiser a success you can go to their Facebook page and comment if you are able to help and what shift you would like. All shifts are from 4-6p.m. or 6-8 p.m. If interested you can contact Rachel Michelle for any other information on how you can help.
“If anyone is interested in joining the PAC membership starts at just $15 and makes such a major difference for our student athletes. There are different levels to our membership and different perks to each membership,” said Meisner.
For more information on how to join the PAC, you can go to their website at https://jersey100.revtrak.net/pac/pac-membership/#/list. All PAC memberships, concessions and fundraising helps purchase supplies, equipment and helps make improvements on what the JHS 100 school budget allows. By joining and helping out supporters who “Back the Pac” can make sure this organization continues to grow and help out our student athletes.
