Next week is homecoming at Pittsfield High School and the theme is Hawaiian Luau.
Events leading up to the big game Friday night, versus Maroa Forsyth are:
Sunday, street painting from 1-4 in front of the high school.
Monday, Sept. 13 is Red, White and Blue Day; Tuesday, Sept. 14 is Hawaiian Day: Wednesday, Sept. 15, is Country vs. Country day, where the country club set will dress accordingly and the cowboy country will sport western attire. Also Wednesday are the Peach Fuzz volleyball game and the powder puff football game, both at the football field; Thursday Sept.16, Class Color Day; Friday, Red and Black day and the informal queen crowning at 8 p.m. at Glenn C. Smith Field.
Friday will include the NHS Follies, the homecoming parade and the pep assembly on the courthouse lawn.
Saturday is the homecoming dance in the Pikeland Community School Parking lot.
