Sophomore Charlie Kallal makes the catch for the Calhoun Warriors and drives himself in for a Calhoun Warriors touchdown during the JV game on September 13 against the West Central Cougars.
Calhoun lost to West Central 40-0 on Friday, Sept 10. It was not an easy game for the Warriors and it showed no matter how hard they tried.
“West Central is an undefeated veteran team with size and speed,” Coach Aaron Elmore said. “They are physical and their size gave us some problems. We gave them too many short fields and made a few mistakes that killed our drives.”
The Warriors (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Greenfield/Northwestern (Greenfield, IL). The Tigers meet up with the Warriors and they have a 2-1 record. The game is at home for the Warriors. Game time starts at 7 p.m.
