We’ve had a few more days of Indian Summer, as it’s called, been quite hot, just harder to tolerate when had some nice cool ones. But we’ll take what comes, still been very nice!
As you can look around there are lots of farmers and implements moving out and about, be on the look out and please try to be patient as they are cautious and looking out for you.
The Crossing in Pittsfield is taking donations for the Louisiana hurricane victims this coming Saturday and also next Saturday 9-2 p.m. They are accepting toiletries, cleaning supplies and non-perishable food items. Also anyone willing to volunteer these days much appreciated. Stan Weir, bless this man, is taking semi load down first week of October. Thank you to any and all that can help.
Honor of God~Pleasant Hill Christian Church is offering a power hour for children ages 3-6 grade every Sunday starting Sept. 19-Oct.31 at 9:45 a.m. with light breakfast, which will be Bible school with classes, activities. Also warm invitation to all, adults and children alike, they have a Haiti Missionary family during church-The Dorce family here during this time as well to share their mission and would love for you to come!
Pleasant Hill Christian Church will be having their Food Pantry available this Saturday 9 a.m.-11 a.m. all in need are welcome.
We are over the moon as we got to welcome our first grandbaby. Little Miss Averie Jean Stark was born to Lauren and Collin Stark this past Friday, she is doing well, so precious. Huge Congratulations to our dear kids. We are so in Love! Nothing melts a heart like a grandchild will, true statement!
Congratulations to Haylee and Izic Rogers on their new baby girl, Raiden, born Sept. 5.
Two Rivers Marina will be having a Classic Antique Boat Show this coming Saturday starting at 10 a.m. for those interested, drop on over to the river.
