Michael D. Cox, 73, passed away on September 2, 2021.He was born on September 18, 1947 in Carrollton to Harold & Ethel “Eileen” (Weller) Cox.After retiring from being a barge surveyor, he then retired from being an OTR truck driver. Michael is survived by his daughter Tracy Cooley of Virden; his daughter-in-law: Rae Cox; grandchildren: Jacob Drainer, Sami Drainer, Madi Cox, and Damon Cox; and greatgrandchild: Canaan Drainer. He is preceded in death by his parents, son: Brian Cox, and brother: Stanley Cox. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Alexander Funeral Home in Charge of Arrangements.
