Griggsville-Perry kindergarten teacher, Pam Van Winkle, right, helps Owen Miller peel an apple last week using an antique apple dealer that belonged to VanWinkle’s grandmother. The students used the peeled apples to make applesauce for their afternoon snack. Other classes in the school did other projects with apples to celebrate Apple Festival Week in Griggsville.
