Sept. 22: Modern Woodmen dinner chapter 12243 will have a dine in or carry out available from 4-7p.m. at the Illinois River Dock Resturant.
Sept. 24: Calhoun elementary will be having a grandparent’s day program at 2 p.m. in the elementary gym. Mark your calendars because you don’t want to miss this.
Sept. 24: The Village of Batchtown is hosting a town cleanup with a 40 yard dumpster and appliance and metal pickup. It started last Friday and will continue through this Friday, the 24th mid-day. For Batchtown residents only. The Batchtown area has a dumpster available until next Friday. This effort is being supported by the Village, and the Batchtown Woman’s Club. The pick up area is behind the Town Building on Main Street. If you have questions, call Jean Tepen, or Robin Hillen.
Sept. 25: On Saturday, at 3 p.m. Calhoun PCRE is having their office grand opening!
Food and drinks will be served! Meet Ashley Droege with New American Funding in her new location in the Rastello Building!
Sept. 30: Boo to the Flu Drive thru on Sept 30 from 3-7pm!
This year we have changed locations! Flu shots will be given out in front of the Health Department. Flu shots are available to anyone 6 months and older with private insurance or self pay. Unfortunately, we have not received VFC (Public Aid for children) flu vaccines from the state and are unable to offer them at this clinic.
No appointments necessary. Come see our spooky set up, get a goodie bag and of course a Flu shot!
Covid testing is offered Tuesday, & Thursday by appointment only. Due to the increase in cases and demand for testing, appointments are required and will be offered curbside from 1:00 to 3:15. To schedule, please call the office at 618-576-2428 and select option 2.
