Hello from Alsey. Beautiful weather lately. Ok with me if this lasts until next April! The humming birds will be gone in a few weeks. I’ll have to drink my morning coffee without them.

Alsey Baptist Church hosts a movie night on the last Sunday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Everyone welcome. Popcorn and drinks are available. Bring your own chair or use the ones already there.

Sonie Smith and Peggy Clemons enjoyed lunch at Grand slam Bar and Grill on Wednesday.
John and Terri Fryman, Don and Judy Bigley traveled to Memphis Tenn. over the weekend to visit relatives.
Royal Neighbors Chapter 3190 met for their annual gathering of members on Wednesday evening. Attending were Judy Cannon, Mary McEfresh, Peggy Clemons, Josh Cannon, Birdie Sturgeon, Connie Fair and Linda Mueller.
Alsey Baptist Church Fall Festival and Revival Oct. 10, 11, 12 and 13. Fall Festival on Oct. 10 featuring The Gibson Girls from Jerseyville, IL, 2 to 5 p.m. Bible School Children will perform at 1 p.m. Lots of games, also the Grotto Bar and vendors.
Revival 11-13 at 7 p.m. Pastor Bob Kerr will be revival speaker. Special music by Carlo San Paolo. Supper served nightly at 7 p.m. Come bring the whole family and lawn chairs. See you there!
