Ashley Gregory and Lily Little combined for 15 service points as West Central beat Pittsfield 26-24, 25-19 in volleyball Sept. 13 at Bluffs.
West Central fell behind 15-10 in the second game and trailed 19-17 later in the game.
The Cougars tied the game when Pittsfield misplayed a ball and took the lead when Lily Little had a service ace. Pittsfield had three consecutive hitting errors and another service ace by Little provided the winning point.
West Central trailed 7-2 in the first game but rallied to take a 12-11 when Karsyn Wardlow had a service ace. Gregory had a kill, and Bell Brown had a service to extend the lead to 22-19.
Pittsfield would tie the game at 24 but was twice called for being in the net as the Cougars held on for the win.
Little had eight service points, including three service aces, three kills, three assists and two blocks. Gregory had seven service points, including three service aces, four kills, one block and one assist.
Wardlow had four service points, including two aces, and three digs. Brown had four service points, including two aces, and two blocks. Anna Sellars had four service points and one kill.
Emma Smith had two kills and one block. Elise Brown had one service point, one kill and one dig. Rylee Burk had one service point and one dig. Morgan Kunz had one dig.
Greenfield-Northwestern beat West Central 24-26, 25-12, 25-12 Sept. 16 at Greenfield.
