The Lady Panthers tennis team is having a great season this year and in recognition of the contributions that senior athletes have made to the fall sports programs over the last four years, the coaches, the team and their parents honored them in a small ceremony last Thursday night.
On Thursday, Sept. 16 before their tennis match against Glenwood Community High School (GCHS), Jersey Community High School (JCHS). Lady Panthers’ tennis team recognized this year’s seniors. The team has six athletes for the 2021 season. Lily Ingram, Sabrina Ingram, Emma Hahn, Leann Woodring, Morgann Ramirez, and Kate Jones were all presented with flower boquets by their teamates.
“The match against Chatham went well. We lost 8-1, but they are one of the best teams in central Illinois, Head Coach Dan Diamond said. “ I am very proud of our girls, and how they competed. Elise Noble and Libby McCormick had a victory at #2 Doubles, and I am very proud of their effort.”
