This fall weather is absolutely beautiful!
Kampsville is definitely getting in the fall spirit!
The signs are all decorated up as is the Town Hall and Marcia Agney has been working overtime building scarecrows!
The Bank of Kampsville also has a cute display.
Don’t forget to get signed up for the 2nd Annual Scarecrow Competition! You can get signed up with Glenda Sidwell.
Mark your calendars also for Old Settlers Days Oct. 8 and 9. On the riverfront here in Kampsville.
Trunk or treat will be held Sunday, Oct. 24. Anyone wanting to have a trunk, please message me or give me a call. We will be doing an all-outdoor event this year.
This Sunday, Oct. 3, are the Duck races on the Hardin RiverFront. Make sure you get your duck bought.
The Kampsville Royalty: Little Mr. Harry Hayn, Toddler Exlee Reno and Baby Shawn McKinnon, represented Kampsville at the Batchtown Fall Festival on Sunday. The Calhoun Royalty, Miss Calhoun Lexi Klocke, Jr. Miss Reagan Clendenny, Little Mr. and Miss Braxton King and Harlow Hayn also attended. They all enjoyed participating in the parade and all the activities that Batchtown had throughout the day. A beautiful day for such a fun event. Thank you Batchtown for inviting us. We all had a great time.
Kenzi Owens, daughter of Silas and Bethany Owens, participated in her second horse show and placed second and third. Great job Kenzi.
The class of 71 held their 50 year reunion and the Class of 96 had their 25 year reunion Saturday night at Straight Home. The Co-reunion was put on by the Calhoun Alumni Association.
Kampsville Landing held a Sunday Pool Tournament. Winners: Wolf Grissom, Terry McBride and Bud Branham.
Happy Birthday Amiah Johnson on Sept. 23 and Happy Birthday Kenny Johnson on Sept. 26.
A huge Happy 90th Birthday to Nan Ringhausen. She was the guest of honor at a surprise party Sunday afternoon at the KC Hall in Harden.
Happy 41st Anniversary Denny and Jane Brangenberg on September 26.
Congrats to Greg and Von Woefel on their newest grandbaby Conway Atlas Trenary who arrived September 21 weighing 7lbs. and 12 oz. Proud parents are Chet and Gretchen Trenary. Great grandparents are Jr. and Sharon Looper.
Congratulations Ausel to Eric and Sarah Hagen on the arrival of their fifth child, Natalie Marie Hagen, who made her arrival in September. Her siblings Janie, Chloe, Molly and Charlie are very excited and couldn’t wait to meet her.
