At BHS it has been a tradition to recognize students for outstanding character and leadership. The nominations and voting for Student of the Month and Raider Recognition awards are done by teachers. Congratulations to Student of the Month, Hope Odelehr, daughter of James and Cathy Odelehr of Golden Eagle. Hope has stepped up and taken charge her Senior year with much enthusiasm and leadership. She has already begun planning for fall events with the National Honor Society and has helped in many other endeavors. She is always polite and gets the job done.
Congratulations, too, to the recipient of Raider Recognition for September, Hope Smith, daughter of Ricky and Tara Smith of Brussels. Hope received two Raider Recognitions for September. The first for recognizing that another student needed help and stepping in to help out. She also saved the day and fixed a teacher’s computer.
Way to go, girls! You make BHS proud!
