Sept 29: Modern Woodmen chapter 1621 is having a dinner @ Straight Home from 4-7p.m.
Sept 30: Boo to the Flu Drive thru on Sept 30 from 3-7pm!
This year we have changed locations! Flu shots will be given out in front of the Health Department. Flu shots are available to anyone 6 months and older with private insurance or self pay. Unfortunately, we have not received VFC (Public Aid for children) flu vaccines from the state and are unable to offer them at this clinic.
No appointments necessary Come see our spooky set up, get a goodie bag and of course a Flu shot!
Covid testing is offered Tuesday, & Thursday by appointment only. Due to the increase in cases and demand for testing, appointments are required and will be offered curbside from 1:00 to 3:15. To schedule, please call the office at 618-576-2428 and select option 2.
Oct 1: There is a matching fund dinner hosted by Modern Woodmen chapter 18050 from 4-8 p.m. for the village of Hamberg. It will be at the River Dock restaurant and it is dine-in or carry out.
Oct 1: Homecoming Parade for Brussel High School. Bring your chairs as it starts at 6 p.m. The parade begins at the BHS and will end at the American Legion. Participation in the parade will be from the volleyball team, school clubs, homecoming court candiates and many more.
Oct 3: There will be a matching fund dinner held by the Modern Woodmen chapter 1621. It is drive-thru only and it’s for the Knights of Columbus Council 4417. The dinner will be at the KC hall in Hardin. It will start at 4p.m. until food runs out.
Oct 8: Calhoun High School’s National Honor Society is hosting a Chili Supper during the homecoming football game on Oct. 8. It will begin at 5:30 p.m. until they run out.
