The Greene County Health Department has released detailed COVID-19 numbers for the month of August regarding the number of individuals who not only tested positive for the virus, but also for those who tested positive after vaccination.
According to the numbers, there were a total of 281 cases of COVID reported for the month of August. Of those 281 cases, 38 individuals participated in vaccination and tested positive for COVID after becoming fully vaccinated. Of those 38 who tested positive, three had to be hospitalized due to COVID.
Of those who were not vaccinated, which make up the majority of the 281 cases (243), 18 of those became hospitalized due to COVID.
