North Greene held their Homecoming Parade Friday afternoon, prior to the Homecoming game against Pleasant Hill. The parade began at the high school, proceeded down Main Street and then looped down around White Hall Nursing and Rehab for all of the residents to see. Each of the candidates and attendants were featured in the parade. The volleyball and football teams were riding atop the firetrucks, as were the cheerleaders. A new addition was added to the parade this year – High School Principal Amanda Macias joined the festivities, sitting on the back of a four-wheeler giving the “royal-wave” and wearing a tiara. The overall consensus was “don’t give up your day job.”
