Homecoming Week kicks off this week at Calhoun High School (CHS) from Oct. 6 through Oct. 9. The student body had a Lights, Camera, Action theme for this year’s homecoming, which took place on Saturday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. Happy Homecoming Warriors! The week will be filled with activities not only for the football team but for the Warrior’s student body, too.
“The student body is having a throwback homecoming theme which is based off of a Hollywood glam to the stars,” Eric Hagen said. “Today (Monday, Oct. 4), CHS’s students are dressed as their favorite grunge band. Tomorrow, students will dress as their favorite movie star pre 2000 era and there is a color war between the classes. The day of the parade is spirit day.”
Hagen mentioned The Powder Puff game will take place on the football field, at 6:30 p.m. In an effort to hinder the spread of COVID-19, students will be masked. On Oct. 8, the homecoming parade will take place at 9:30 a.m., which is on Thursday morning. The next day, in the evening, the Homecoming Game will kick off at home at 7 p.m. against the North Greene Spartans.
