We received some much needed rain over the weekend, also a cool down and really pleasant days all this week. You can sure see the changes unfold.
Wolves football had a loss to Calhoun and Oaken Bucket for the Homecoming game! But good game was played boys. Congratulations to royalty: Jadyn Barnes, Queen and Wade Barnes, King.
Pleasant Hill High will be hosting their annual Volley for Hope this Thursday starting at 6 p.m. There will be silent auction, 50/50, door prizes and the money proceeds will go to Amy Sidwell and family of Amanda Pankratz. A Great cause to Pack the Wolves Den!
Twin Pike YMCA will be having youth indoor soccer from Nov.13-Dec.18, each Saturday. The deadline is Oct. 18 for sign up. Also they are hosting a Zombie 5K run/walk at Jellystone Park/Pine Lakes Saturday, Oct. 30. Wear your best costume and the race will start at 10 a.m. Better get registered now for these fun events.
Kampsville will be having their Old Settlers Days this coming Saturday and Sunday, be sure to take a nice little drive to Calhoun for the festivities.
Eula Mae Peterson passed away last week, she and her husband were in our community for a little while. She and her daughter, Jane Zarello, moved up around Bushnell Deepest sympathy to all of the family.
