Raymond David Ayres, 97, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021 at his residence.

Visitation was held on Saturday, Oct. 9 from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. at Crawford Funeral Home in Jerseyville.

Burial followed at Noble Cemetery in Otterville, with Jerseyville American Legion Post #492 conducting military honors.

In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials may be given to BJC Hospice.
