Being able to win great prizes just for coloring a picture seems like every young kid’s dream come true. Break out your crayons, markers, coloring pens and pencils, as it is time for The 2021 Spooky Coloring Contest. The contest is brought to you by Jersey County Journal. We would love to see how you make his coloring sheet stand out. The coloring contest is open to kids 10 years and younger.
There are great prizes at stake. The contest starts with kids getting their hands on a copy of the official drawing. Once kids have the picture, they can add a touch of their own creativity. All they have to do is color it. Using crayons or whatever other media they wish, they can add full color to this artwork.
Each child who brings in their colored picture to Jersey County Journal’s office will receive a special treat just for entering. Then, on Nov 1, a drawing will be held to determine first, second and third place winners. Thank you to our sponsors, Tri-County Bowling Lanes, Andy’s Athletics, Imo’s Pizza and Dairy Queen, all of Jerseyville.
Contest rules are limited to one entry per child. Entries must be received by Oct. 30. Entries will not be returned and will be considered property of RiverCountyNews for printing. Relatives of newspaper employees and contest sponsors are not eligible to win.
The coloring page can be found in the Oct. 20 edition of the Jersey County Journal on pg. A8.
