Are you looking for ‘more’? Why not sign up for CPR classes? Classes are held on the third Saturday of every month from 1:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Pike County Ambulance Service. This is open to all residents of Pike County with a fee of $43 for renewals, or $60 for first-time card. This is an American Heart Association CPR card.
Class size is reserved for six students. You can contact Lon with questions or reservations at (217) 779-5007.
The GPHS Class of 2022 is taking orders for Butter Braids from now until Nov. 8. To place an order, you may see a member of the class, go on the school’s Facebook page and click on the link, or contact Mrs. Conkright at conkrightc@griggsvilleperry.org. The products will be delivered to the school on the afternoon of November 17.
Griggsville-Perry Elementary Halloween Parade will be Friday, Oct. 29 at 1 p.m. In case of rain, it will be held in the gym.
Our sympathy is extended to the family of Mary Etta Dunmire who passed away last Wednesday, Oct. 20 at Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield.
Bobbi Jo McCarter suffered a mild heart attack Saturday and was hospitalized for a few days. We wish you a speedy recovery, Bobbi Jo!
