A single vehicle crash involving a 2019 Freightliner truck tractor tanker trailer, cured Oct. 24 at 2:25 a.m. near milepost 51.
According to Illinois State Police reports, the unit, driving by Rkab Abdullah, 55 of Sandy Springs, Ga., was west bound, when he ran off the the roadway on the right shoulder, into the road construction zone; overturned, slid across the westbound lanes and came to rest facing east in the median.
The contents of the trailer was identified as palm oil.
No injuries were reported.
Abdullah was cited for improper lane use.
