Hello from our church and Bro. Mancel Day.
Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, is followed right after 10:30 a.m. morning worship service. We have a kids church and nursery service available too. Everyone is welcome and we are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, Oct. 31 we had 20 attending Sunday school and 32 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. Others to remember include Junia Day, Lois Hart, Connie Sturgeon, Josh and Judy Cannon, Blaze Farris, Jennifer Hoots, Brenda Pollard, Pat Frost, Shetta Heitbrink, Carole Strong, David Moore, Karla Cannon, Delores Cannon, Harold & Esther Jefferson, Brad Fundel, Shari Selleck, Eric Murphy, Art Rogers, Steven Gilmore, Brendon Lawson, Carol Crochett, Jessica Andrews, Betty Smith, Becky Matthews, Jennie Fox, Mary Clause, Pam Taylor, Kevin Hardwick, Tara Dawdy, Jane Kaegy, Keith Wells, Kelsey Arnold, and John & Donna Helenthal.
Sunday was our fifth Sunday hymn sing. This was also a time that we shared some of our favorite memories of church. During our service George Rogers sang “Four Days Late.”
We will be having movie night Friday, Nov. 12 at the Fellowship Hall at 6:00 p.m. The title of the movie is still to be determined.
Our monthly ladies luncheon will be Tuesday, Nov. 16 at noon in the Fellowship Hall. Our monthly ladies bible study will be Sunday, Nov. 21 at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28th we will decorate the church for Christmas following the morning service. Our family Christmas party will be Friday, Dec. 3rd at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Happy birthday wishes go out to Lora Steele Nov. 6. There are no anniversaries to report for this week. That’s all for this week. Don’t forget the time change on Saturday night. It is time to fall back, which means you get an extra hour of sleep.
