Take time to send a note or card to others. We have become so consumed with texting and messaging, that the art of writing and sending letters and cards is almost obsolete. Make someone’s day by sending a personally chosen card to that person. And while you are at it, put a few encouraging words in there as well.
The Chamber of Commerce, business owners, and the City of Pittsfield are looking forward to hosting the 11th Girls’ Night Out on the Pittsfield Square, this Thursday, Nov. 4, from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Daylight Savings Time ends this Sunday, Nov. 7. Remember: “Fall back, Spring forward.”

The Barry Methodist Church Trunk or Treat was a great success. They want everyone who provided a trunk to know all was appreciated. The Farmers Bank of Liberty won the trunk best decorated.
Tad and Hannah Blacketer and sons, Asa and Amos, of Mt. Pulaski spent Saturday afternoon, Oct. 30, with Tad’s parents Carl and Wanda Blacketer and enjoyed the sunshine and time together.
