Konner Wombles

Schae Leonard
One student from both C-Pod and D-Pod are selected each month for student of the month honors. At the end of the year, these students’ name will be placed on a list for student of the year.
This month’s nominees are:
C-Pod: Konner Wombles. His nominating faculty/staff member said: “This young man is a great student with a charming personality. He is able to take direction, be responsible, and stay organized. He is very competitive, but despite that, he and a few friends help the kids that need an extra boost of confidence at recess and allow them to get “homeruns” at kickball or cheer them on when they need it.”
D-Pod: Schae Leonard. Her nominating faculty/staff member said: “I have never seen any 6th grade student transition as well into Dpod any better than this one! She really has it together! I guess she’s really with it! Super organized, very studious, very meticulous in her work, and kind to everyone. She is an outstanding leader, and a wonderful role model for her classmates. She is one to help without being asked in whatever capacity she can, and will do very well the remainder of her time here. Incredibly mature and very nurturing – patient almost to a fault. If she is having a bad day, you would never know it. You can see her bright smile behind that mask (and yes she is never told to get it over her nose!) – a rule follower, and the perfect nominee!”
Other nominees included: Paisley Hill, William Pennock, Sadie Rumple, Torie Stambaugh, Piper Lewis, Josie Cobb, Lani Cleveland, Christopher Smith, Gabe Simmons, and Deeghan Allen.
