You’ll be seeing lots of blaze orange and the man on the hunt, shotgun season is upon us here, in and around the county. Always be on the watch for those wild deer!
The Christian Church will again have their doors open for the food pantry Saturday 9 a.m.-11 a.m. This will be drive up still.
The Community Club is once again having a Christmas Toy Drive for new and gently used toys for those little ones in need. Be sure to check out their Facebook page for dates since they already had one but I will pass on dates as I see. What a true gift to our Community, this is so wonderful for those members to carry on treasured times in this season from what Lions members did for many years! Still remember well as a child myself.
The Rotary Club of Pike County and the John Wood Southeast Education Center Rotaract Club are sponsoring the Pike County School Clothing and Hygiene Product Drive now though Dec. 10.
