The program at the Greene County Historical Society for the month of November will be presented on Nov. 21 by David George of Greenfield.
George has been a serious collector of Greene County milk bottles for decades, becoming interested in these milk bottles about the time home delivery of milk was fading fast.
He will present a program about the local dairies and display several dozen bottles from his collection at a meeting of the Greene County Historical and Genealogical Society, on Sunday, Nov. 21.
The presentation will follow the Society’s regular business meeting which will begin at 2 p.m. at the historic Lee-Baker Hodges Building on the northwest corner of Carrollton Square. Members and guests are invited to attend and there is no charge. Because of COVID considerations, masks are suggested.
