The eighth grade girls basketball regional started this week at Meredosia/Chambersburg.
Pittsfield, seeded fourth, was to play fifth seeded North Greene Monday at 5:30. The winner will play Quincy St. Peter, the number one seed Nov. 30.

The winner of that game will play or the championship, Dec. 2

In the bottom tier of the bracket, Chambersburg/Meredosia is seeded second and faces seventh seeded Beardstown in the first round.

Also in the first round, Camp Point, seeded third and plays Rushville/Industry, seeded sixth. The winn of those two games will face off with the winner advancing to the championship.
