Every year the Jersey County Business Association recognizes excellence in its business community by awarding the Business of the Year Award to a deserving recipient.
“We are now taking nominations for the award and encourage our members to nominate themselves or others. This year, more than ever, our businesses deserve our recognition,” JCBA Board Chairman Steven Goetten. “To nominate a business, please email beth@jcba-il.us the name of the business and provide a (brief) reason why you think that they should be considered for Business of the Year.”

Goetten mentioned that the nominee must be a current member of the JCBA, show evidence of noteworthy accomplishments, long-standing contribution to the community, positive economic impact and involvement in the JCBA. A list of members can be found on the JCBA website. Nominated businesses will be reviewed by the JCBA Board of Directors, and they will award Business of the Year based on information provided by the nominee.
“The winning business is honored at the JCBA’s Annual Dinner in February in front of their peers. The JCBA will commission a professionally produced promotional video for the winning business, and this will be shown for the first time at the JCBA’s Annual Dinner. Nominations will be open until Friday, December 17, 2021.” Goetten said.
