It was cool but a very nice Sunday morning to travel to church. Again we are blessed with a great gathering of the family of god. We want to invite you to our Christmas concert Dec. 12 at 10:30. Serenity Sound and Our Servants Hearts along with a special guest will present the songs and story of Christmas. A free will offering will be received and a luncheon will follow the concert.our message this morning was from the 1st chapter of Hebrews 1:14. “Seeing Jesus’’ as we enter the Christmas season we are reminded not to get caught up in the secular meaning and practice of Christmas to the point where Jesus is largely unseen. To celebrate Christmas without Jesus is like celebrating a birthday without the guest of honor present and no one would think of doing that, so why is it that it can be so easy sometimes to get caught up in the secular spirit of the season. Christmas is precisely about the birth of the Savior,our Savior and we must always keep Jesus before us in this season.
Our recent prayer requests are Ava/Dan-Robert-Bobbie-Debbie-Vera/Bob-Jessica-Dorothy’s brother-Cheryl’s brother-Patty-again we invite to worship with us each Sunday morning at 10:30 and don’t forget to join us for our Dec 12 Christmas concert. God bless.
