Diamonds, the most popular gemstone of all, are a girl’s best friend. Just like the saying “a diamond is forever,” Rylee Schaake will forever remember her fifth birthday.
Schaake and her family were celebrating her birthday on Monday, Dec. 6 at George’s Local Brew. The birthday girl got to spin The Wheel of George, which is tradition at the local brewery.
As Schaake spun the wheel, all eyes were on her as the wheel stopped on a prize. She won a heart shaped diamond ring.
“She was so excited and she showed it off to everybody and then kept showing it off at home,” Rylee’s mother, Ally Schaake said. “Thank you to Chris and Brenda for the wonderful dining tonight at George’s Local Brew! Our big five year old won a diamond ring for her birthday. We couldn’t believe she got a diamond ring.”
Later in the evening, Schaake asked her daughter what she thought about winning the ring and her response to her mom was priceless.
“Mom, it’s what I always wanted!” Rylee said.
