George Andrew Neitze | 56 | Belleview

George Andrew Neitzel, 56, of Belleview, IL passed away Thursday afternoon Dec. 2, 2021 at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, Mo.
George was born June 1, 1965 in Chicago Heights, IL, a son of Edward and Sylvia Andersen Neitzel. He married Melissa D. Steward on August 8, 1992 at Zion Lutheran Church in Crete and she survives.
George was a farmer and was also employed by Callender Construction in Pittsfield. He enjoyed fishing and was a loving and doting father.
George was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa D. Neitzel of Belleview, a daughter, Alexandria Neitzel of the home, his mother-in-law, Sharla Nickell of Belleview, a brother, Charles (Diane) Neitzel of Kansasville, WI and several nieces and nephews.
George was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Terrance Neitzel.
Cremation is being accorded. A memorial service will be held Friday, Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill conducted by Pastor Don Hannel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the memorial service on Friday.
