The Jersey County Health Department (JCHD) has a drive-thru COVID-19 vaccine clinic coming up this Saturday, Dec. 11, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
JCHD will be administering the Pfizer vaccine for those aged five and older, and the Moderna and Johnson and Johnson vaccines to those aged 18 and older. Additionally, there will be Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson boosters available.
No appointments are necessary, but anyone receiving a vaccine must have their consent form completed prior to their arrival. The forms can be found at jerseycountyhealth.org.
At JCHD’s last report, on Nov. 29, there have been 23,897 COVID vaccine doses administered and 10,694 people, or 49.30 percent of Jersey County’s population, are fully vaccinated. Also, according to the same report, there have been a total of 3,628 cases of the virus and 55 deaths in the county since the start of the pandemic.
