Charlette Lin, a volunteer at the Pike County Animal Shelter, and Santa cuddle with Bean and Grace, two small dogs available for adoption at the shelter. An open house Saturday saw four dogs be adopted from the shelter and approximately 35 people visit. McKenzie Ballinger, animal warden, says the event was so successful they plan to hold an open house once a month.
