Calhoun/Brussels may have won the third quarter of the Monday, Dec. 6, girls basketball game, but that was all, as the Jersey Panthers claimed a 40-27 non-conference win at James A. Ringhausen gym in Hardin. Jersey was led by Tessa Crawford with 19, including four 3-pointers and five free throws. Freshman Audrey Gilman led the Lady Warriors in scoring with 10 points while also collecting seven boards.
The Panthers will head to Carrolton on Saturday, Dec. 11, to face off against the Hawks. JV is set to play from 3 to 5 p.m. and the Varsity game will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
