Calhoun-Brussels traveled to Voshall gym in Pittsfield for a non-conference tilt moved from Thursday to allow Pittsfield fans to cheer on their 7th graders in the state championship. Tipoff for JV was 5:00 in an effort to get the Calhoun fans to North Greene for the boys championship tilt in North Greene. After a triple overtime JV contest and an hour and a half tornado warning delay, Calhoun came away victorious in a slugfest of sorts. Pittsfield/Griggsville-Perry got the deficit down to 2 points early in the 4th quarter before Calhoun took control to finish the game going away. Calhoun travels to North Greene, Triopia, and Gillespie next week.
