News from Barrow Baptist Church and Pastor Mancel Day. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship with nursery service and kids church available. We are handicap accessible. Everyone is welcome to either or both services.
On Sunday, Dec. 12 we had 20 attending Sunday school and 27 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. Others to remember include Junia Day, Lois Hart, Debbie Grable, Bob Krempasky, Judy Caskey, Kristy Gilmore, Steve Gilmore, Eric Combs, Shari Selleck, Art Rogers, Jean Coates, Gary Coates, Steve Hart, Doug Norris, Carol Strong, Jennifer Hoots, Carol Crochett, Delores Cannon, Karla Cannon, Bronya Sanders, Tara Dawdy, Rich and Lisa Icide, Journee Vinyard, John Helenthal, Jared Andrews, Jessica Andrews, Brenda Pollard, Shelta Hietbrink, Brad Fundel, Tim Welch, and the families of Don Stucker, Kenny Savage, Harold Jefferson, and Betty Smith.
Don’t forget the drive-thru Nativity Saturday, Dec. 18 at Gates to Glory church on Rt. 67 north from 5 to 8 p.m.
We will be having our Christmas program, Sunday evening Dec. 19th at 6:00 p.m. Our monthly Ladies Luncheon will be Tuesday, Dec. 21 at noon in the fellowship hall. We will be having Christmas eve services at 5:00 p.m. Dec. 24. We will be having a New Year’s eve party Dec. 31st at 6 p.m.
During morning worship Rich Caskey sang “Two Coats.”
That’s all for this week. Hopefully everyone stays safe during our recent storms on Friday night and pray for all the families affected by the tornadoes in Madison county, Missouri, Kentucky, Arkansas and Tennessee.
