Alton Physical Therapy (APT) is all set to open a brand new outpatient clinic in Hardin in January 2022.
APT is a therapist owned practice that has been setting the standard of excellence for rehabilitation since 1982. It has grown from a single setting clinic in Alton to an eight location company, providing care involving orthopedics, aquatics, pre- and post-operative and sports rehab.
At APT, staff is guided by the highest level of integrity in their daily work. Patients at APT have come to know their care is delivered in a compassionate, respectful, confidential and responsive environment.
Treatment plans are individualized to each patient’s needs with a focus on positive outcomes. The newest location, in Hardin, will be directed by therapist Abby Schleeper Baalman. Schleeper Baalman has been a part of the APT family since February 2018, after graduating with her doctorate of physical therapy from Maryville University in St. Louis in December 2017. She started her career with the company at APT’s Jerseyville location and was then transferred to the Carrollton location in December 2020.
Schleeper Baalman enjoys working with patients of all age groups in the outpatient setting, especially those with pre- and post-operative orthopedic injuries, gross motor development of pediatrics and preventative and post-injury athletes. She was raised in Brussels and is excited to provide a new option of rehabilitative care to her home county.
APT’s Hardin clinic will be located at 310 S. County Road in Hardin, IL 62047. It will be open weekdays, by appointment only.
