Volunteers with Carrollton’s Operation Christmas Program were at the United Methodist Church Friday morning for families to pickup their boxes of food and presents for the children. Their volunteers also packed up and made deliveries to the shut-ins. The busy elves spent Thursday boxing up all of the canned goods and dry goods for each family, along with making boxes of presents for those families with children. Friday morning, milk, bread and frozen food were delivered to be included in the boxes. Organizers say the amount of families served this year were down a bit this year with only 80 families on the list this year.
