I hope everyone had a blessed and Merry Christmas!
Congratulations to Mr. & Miss Christmas in Kampsville, Bob and Margie Smith, who received the Home Town Hero Award from the Lite Up Kampsville Committee Monday night, the 20th. Bob and Margie always add Christmas cheer to lots of people in Kampsville and driving by their house during the Christmas season is an absolute must for anyone.
The winners of the Lite Up Kampsville Contest were: First Place – The Pavilion, Second Place – Billye Titus and Family, Third Place – Albert and Cherye Mellenthin. Thank you Lite Up Kampsville for sponsoring this event and getting so many involved.
The Christmas Eve and Christmas weather was more like Spring than winter, but I’m certainly not complaining.
Kampsville Legion will be having their Queen of Hearts drawing on New Years Eve. Everyone is also encouraged to bring a dish for a potluck.
Happy birthday to Little Mr. Calhoun Braxton King who turned 7 on December 26.
Please continue prayers for Kurt Roth, Joe Gress, Amy Roth, Joyce Blumenberg, Darren Kress, Zel Blumenberg, Jim Hill, Raymond Sievers, Isabel McGlaughin, Jerry Crader, Kathryn Chapman, Eileen Gardner , Bruce Williams, Kyle Klocke, Kenny Odhler and Gary Roundcount.
