At Pere Marquette Lodge, visitors not only learn about the nation’s most majestic symbol, but will also have the opportunity to meet one. On Sunday, Jan. 30, the Bald Eagle Festival is back, featuring encounters with a variety of raptors and more.
This popular festival offers guests the opportunity to shop the Lodge’s unique vendor booths, grab a bite to eat in their restaurant, taste locally made wines, experience the historic Lodge, and meet some feathered friends.
The main event, the Masters of the Sky Show presented by The World Bird Sanctuary, will personally introduce guests to magnificent winged creatures like owls, falcons, eagles, and more. Show times will be at 11 a.m, 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.
Tickets for the shows can be purchased at the Lodge’s front desk, starting at 10 a.m. on the morning of the festival.
Entry into the festival is free, but those aged 3 and older must pay to see the Masters of the Sky Show. Visit the Pere Marquette Lodge & Conference Center Facebook page for more information, or browse over to their website at, pmlodge.net.
