The North Greene Junior High Lady Warriors volleyball team opened their season at home last week against Winchester/Bluffs. The seventh-grade ladies gave Winchester a run for their money, extending the game to three sets after winning the first set 25-21. Unfortunately, they lost the second and third sets 23-25 and 24-26. The eighth grade lost in straight sets 11-25 and 15-25.
